I am a licensed and board certified psychiatrist in New York City and offer treatment to individuals 18 and up. I am currently an attending physician at Kings County Hospital and in fellowship in Public Psychiatry at Columbia University where I work at an OnTrackNY program that empowers young people who are newly diagnosed with schizophrenia to make meaning of their experiences and attain their goals for school, work, and relationships.

I enjoy using a combination of therapy and medication management to help individuals, particularly young/emerging adults, grow into a life they find worth living. I specialize in supporting those struggling with manic or psychotic conditions and people coping with trauma. I am also passionate about reproductive mental health, working with women who are pre-, peri-, or post-partum.

Essential to my approach is the belief that every patient, before we even meet, already has strengths they are bringing to the table that can help them meet their goals. Using a combination of medications and behavioral therapy approaches, I develop and tailor treatment plans specific to each individual I work with.

I completed my residency in Psychiatry at The Mount Sinai Hospital. I graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where I was peer-nominated into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for compassionate care that recognizes the importance of the human connection in healthcare and peer-nominated for the Cura Personalis Award for exemplifying the principle of “care of the whole person” – attention to the needs of others, respect for unique circumstances and concerns, and appreciation for singular gifts and insights. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy with a minor in Chemistry at Duke University which inspired me to work at a homeless services agency.
