I am a board certified and licensed psychiatrist in practicing in New York City and offer treatment to adolescents and adults 16 years or older using a combination of individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy and medications.

I specialize in the treatment of early life trauma and dissociative disorders. I am also passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ population and offer gender affirming care. My prior training in internal medicine allows me to take a holistic approach to treatment, recognizing that physical and mental health are interconnected.

The aim is to work on your goals at your pace. I take an interpersonal and patient centered approach where the clinical relationship is utilized as a vehicle for change. I bring attention to emotions, identity and interpersonal process to help increase self awareness and find meaning in life.

I completed residency training in Psychiatry at The Mount Sinai Hospital where I remain on faculty as an assistant clinical professor. I consult in the emergency room and inpatient settings and formerly worked as the medical director of Mount Sinai's Partial Hospital Program.

Prior to my Psychiatric training, I trained in the Internal Medicine residency program at the Mount Sinai Hospital. I graduated medical school at Tel Aviv University where I researched and published in the fields of Cardiology and Urology. I completed my undergraduate education at Emory University with a major in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and spent time researching the neurological basis of memory formation.
