I am a licensed psychotherapist practicing in the State of New York focused on working with adolescents and adults in individual, family, couples and group psychotherapy settings. I work with both English and French speaking individuals.

I have several areas of specialized focused including Men's Mental Health, Parental Loss, Learning Disorders, individuals with High Functioning Autism and those with various forms of Early Life Trauma including sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect. My approach is particularly focused on improving self esteem and using a solutions based perspective. I hope to help my clients reclaim their narrative and take back control of their lives.

In working with my clients, I prefer a strengths based perspective which I believe helps to identify and build on the positives rather than focusing on weaknesses defeats which otherwise may feed into a deficit mindset. In this way I help people move forward and build up towards more confidence and self efficacy. The goal is to create partnership with my clients and follow their lead so that they can achieve the goals that they set.

I completed my Masters degree in Social Work at Simmons University; there I helped children on the Autism Spectrum using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). After graduating I participated in crisis management at The Justice Resource Institute helping individuals struggling with various acute mental health challenges. I completed my undergraduate degree at Boston University with a focus in health science.
